30 Nov Festive Fun at Ascot Priory
We can’t believe that December has arrived so quickly. Here at The Priory we have a fun and festive December to look forward to, kicking off with a visit to the Marist School in Ascot to watch the nursery perform their Nativity play. The following week we are off to visit St Joseph’s school in Ascot for tea and cake along with carols from the children. We’re also going to watch the ice skating at Winter Wonderland and we have our own carol concert planned. We’re very lucky to have such a beautiful church and we have invited the children’s choir from Lambrook school to join us.
On the 14th December we are getting a special visit from Rupert and Henry the Alpacas. Our residents love it when animals come to visit! We’re also busy putting up decorations and turning our care homes into a Winter Wonderland. The Summer House will be transformed into Santa’s Grotto and the children from our on site nursery at Puddleducks will be coming to visit. In between all of these fun activities we also have lots of entertainment planned including a pantomime, hand bell ringers, singers and carollers. Our residents will also be busy make indoor crafts such as orange and clove pomanders and paper chains. We’re also hoping for a visit from Father Christmas himself (we just need to ensure we remain on the nice list). So all in all we have a full and fun festive season planned. Wishing you all a wonderful countdown to Christmas.
