Festive Fun at Ascot Priory

We can’t believe that December has arrived so quickly.  Here at The Priory we have a fun and festive December to look forward to and we are busy decorating our care homes ready for the month ahead. We have also been busy baking and our Christmas puddings and Christmas cakes have been maturing nicely. We’re looking forward to the fun part of icing the cakes.

Here are some more of the fun things we have planned this December:

2nd – We are looking forward to two concerts from the Reading Male Voice Choir.

7th – Off to watch the iceskating at the open air ice rink in Windsor’s Wonterland.

8th – We’re being visited by Heathfield St Mary’s and we’re looking forward to hearing their carols.

11th – We have our own annual carol concert with Lambrook school, followed by tea and mince pies.

13th – We’ll be enjoying carols from St Joseph’s school along with with more mince pies.

18th – We’re off to visit the animals at Bronwells farm with our Santa hats on! We need to be in the festive spirit that day as Santa will also be visiting our grotto!

In amongst all of these fun activities, we have a few entertainers coming to visit us throughout the month. We also have some all important shopping trips planned to M&S and the Christmas markets in Bracknell

So all in all we have a full and fun festive season planned.  Wishing you all a wonderful countdown to Christmas.
